SFPIM and Astanor have been refining their approach for some time and are excited to share their insights.
Both funds apply the Money Multiple method, where impacts are quantified in monetary terms. Beyond presenting this methodology and its implementation within each fund, this session will explore key challenges faced by impact funds, such as:
- Verifying and accounting for negative impact
- Financially valuing CO2 emissions
- Differentiating impact valuation between equity and debt instruments
- Calculating the discount rate and assessing added value
SFPIM and Astanor are actively exploring these questions and invite an open discussion with the audience to exchange insights and refine approaches together.
