Financing the Transition towards a Low-Carbon Economy in Belgium

Upcoming · 20 October 2026

Impact Finance Belgium and Private Capital Belgium invite you to an afternoon session on financing the transition towards a low-carbon economy in Belgium.

Belgium’s climate transition needs more than ambitious targets: significant investment, and clear choices about where capital makes the greatest difference, across the whole economy and not only in energy.

Serge de Gheldere (Helios Foundation) opens with the findings of a new sector-by-sector report, commissioned by the Helios Foundation, on the strategic shifts this transition requires. Three practitioners then share their experience: Junction Growth Investors on growth investment in transition technologies, Korys on long-term family capital in energy, mobility and food, and Revive on turning brownfields into sustainable, affordable neighbourhoods. A panel and a small-group discussion close the afternoon, on what it takes to move from priorities to action.

Date: Tuesday 20 October 2026, from 13:00 to 17:30. Registration and welcome coffee from 13:00; drinks and networking from 16:30.

Location: L42 Business Center, Rue de la Loi 42, 1040 Brussels

Registration: please register through the registration form.

Co-organised by Impact Finance Belgium and Private Capital Belgium.
